Synopsis: four scenes of a performance/installation in a New York exhibition space. The gallery, X-Initiative, closed a year long program with an uncurated show, BYOA, which allowed anyone to install their work for a 24 hour period.
In the video, a man enters each scene and begins laying down powdery texts on the floor. People enter and exit, carrying framed items, seeking space to hang artwork and examining artwork already installed.
Conversations continue. People use the bathroom. Ladders are moved. The man finishes each text, carefully packs his gear and exits.
